How are we supposed to escape our daily routine, when we are feeling down and depressed. If every day feels like it is on the “power saving mode” and it doesn’t seem like your energy is getting recharged. That lack of energy, where does it come from? This leads to our first topic.
1. Start Working Out

There is a major misbelieve in our heads. No matter how long you take your rest, it doesn’t seem like you’re fully recharging. The same goes for a generator. It needs something to create energy. Motion is a good example to translate energy from one to another. Of course, there won’t be any electricity, if there is no motion in a wind power station.

So if you want energy/vitality you need motion. It is proven that people who are physically more active are more productive. Your body needs motion/exercise. Start creating your own energy by working out and taking care of your body.
2. Dopamine Detox
What is Dopamine? Dopamine is a hormone that produces the feeling of happiness in our brain.

You have to stop giving your brain constant dopamine from distractions. There are a lot of things that are distracting and also differs from person to person, but I would conclude the most common distractions are social media and pornography. If you consume those things your brain will automatically adapt to doing easy things and receiving a large reward. Your effort that you put in is so much less than what you get. We can achieve dopamine in such an easy and fast way in modern society, but it doesn’t mean that it is a good thing. If you let yourself overflow with too many happiness hormones in such an easy way, why should you put in the work when you can be happy by putting in little effort? This will lead to feeling empty and weak. You must be able to train yourself to become comfortable with doing the uncomfortable. By doing so you get dopamine from things you put effort into and this will make you get used to it. By doing this you will get addicted to success.
Train yourself by distancing yourself from easy dopamine accesses.
3. Good Nutrition

We are giving too often our bodies bad treatment by shoving in unhealthy food. We barely think about the consequences, but our body has to process the food. Your body is strong it won’t budge from eating one or two fast-food meals, even after 5 burgers it will still be okay. But after the 500th burger, your body maybe not take it that good. In the long run, your body has to put in more energy and effort to process the food because it is unhealthy and it will make you feel less vital, which will have an effect on your life quality. We won’t be able to use the energy wasted on fast food to focus it on important things. Your priorities, your goals your dreams, will have to wait because you have to use your energy for fast food. So be aware of your nutrition and catch up on healthy nutrition.
4. Organize yourself

It costs a lot of energy struggling with what to do next, what to eat next, who to meet next, when to catch up with the latest lecture, when to start reading your new book etc. So instead of thinking in the short term about what to do in the next few hours, you can organize yourself, make a plan, write it down and execute it. So you only have to take a look at your schedule after finishing your task to see what’s next. You have to plan ahead what your goal is and how you achieve it. Break it down to smaller goals and note when to execute them.
5. Look Around

Look out who you are spending your time with. If you’re surrounded by people who are not giving energy, but rather soaking your energy you should change that. You don’t want to spend your time discussing matters that are obvious and unnecessary. You want people who support you, are open-minded and aim for the same direction as you do. If it is a circle where you keep pushing yourselves up you will bloom and climb higher places automatically.
