Now during quarantine, I realized, that it is not as easy as thought to start with the training I did before. Starting over in sports is hard because it is the process where you already were before and you have to start over again.

First, you have to understand, that it is not always about the results. Nowadays the majority only focuses on the results, the achievements. But the most important things are the process and to feel comfortable in your own body. You have to be able to build your body successive and after you put in the hard work you will be rewarded. For example, you start to learn the alphabet, and then you learn how words are written. You have to set yourself constraints. Set yourself limits, because if you are someone who does everything you won’t be good at anything. Focus on your goals don’t waste your energy on other distractions. On the one hand, the majority of people want a sixpack, but on the other hand, McDonald’s is still one of the most successful companies in the world.
Stay consistent. Your progress will be lost especially in sports if you don’t keep the workup. You will stagnate in your process automatically, we are humans and we have our physical limits, but if you already stagnate in your training you will never achieve the best of yourself. To bring out the best of you, you have to keep pushing.
Keep in mind it doesn’t bring you anything if you’re not feeling comfortable in your body. If you’re not planning on getting professional you don’t have to push yourself too hard to your physical limits so that you injure yourself or feel dizzy. It is better to start slow and keep increasing your level of training bit by bit. I made often the experience of getting dizzy during my workouts after I started training again after slacking off. To prevent these I reviewed my circumstances and came to the conclusion, that I overlooked many other factors of my workout schedules.
- Food – Eat as healthy as you can and engage on the topic so you can help your body to strengthen your body. Make sure to provide your body with enough nutrition. And also don’t forget to stay hydrated.
- Sleep – Sleep is so important to recover your body. Get at least 8 hours of sleep.
- Condition – Keep in mind if you start working out again, you shouldn’t do the same things you did as you were in your prime. Your body won’t be accustomed to the previous exercises and it will exhaust your process more than just doing a bit less than you did before.
Those are the 3 important topics you should look into besides working out. I hope this blog entry was informative and helps you achieve your goals.
