People always say: “You are what you eat!”, but why is that? It probably means if you want to be healthy you have to eat good food. That kind of philosophy doesn’t just transfer to food. It can be converted to almost everything we consume. Therefore the title and today’s topic: Are you what you consume?

So first of all means to take something in your system. We consume every day. Almost everything in our surroundings leaves a footprint on us and has an impact on our future. Whether it is our education, the friends you have, or the free time activities we do, they all have a certain influence on us. If we want it or not we won’t be able to control that our surroundings will influence us.
It is statistically proven that, if you’re born in a poor family you probably will be poor too when you grow up and if you live in a location with a high crime rate you probably will be a criminal too someday. Now that we know that, what is the meaning of all this? Does that mean our lives are already determined from the start?
Wrong. We are who we want to be. You are free to change and make certain decisions. You may not be able at first to choose in which surroundings you will get born into, but we are more and more able to change it by gaining power over our lives, by taking more responsibility for ourselves.

Take a careful look. Food. Health. Music. Podcasts. Videos. Social Media. Movies/Series. Clothing. Drugs. Humans. Further education. What do you consume? Are those things healthy/good for me? Are they just an escape? If so, why is that? Try to face reality with an optimistic view and by changing these little things you consume in your everyday life you will get satisfying results. Change your consumables to a successful property so that your life can become a successful business.
When everything influences us, we should make sure those are as many positive ones as we can, shouldn’t we?
There won’t be much change if we keep living as we did before! Change what you’re doing by changing your intake. You are free to change to who you want to be. Just absorb the philosophy of who you want to be.
I hope you will change up one or two consumables you have into better ones. Also, remember the most important part of consuming is the people you have around you. Because you will adapt to your closest ones. You will take over their slang and soon as that their behavior. This will go in both directions, the positive or the negative one. So be careful who you let influence you or better said be careful of who you consume.
